Same as a lot of people on here. A merchant account with a company I'm not with has an "issue" and I'm to call back a different number. I can't see a legit company doing this. Couldn't tell if he said FTA or FPA, but found no companies with either names that did what he was claiming to do.
Got the same call everyone on this page has recieved from some random broad named "Crystle" demanding to speak with the owner and willing to hold for a "infinite" period of time regarding a supposed "charge back" I knew off the bat it was not an official phone call because of the limited vocabulary this young lady had, she sounded like a mid 20's teeny bopper with a attitude and a small chip on her shoulder. We went back and forth for a few minutes simply because my afternoon boredom forced me to stay on the phone and listen to her random nonsense she was babling. If you receive a call from any of these call center troopers be sure to let them know the simplicity of using google, or if you're feeling saucy go ahead and play a long a little and see if you can get a rise. Hope this helps
This person calls and claims to be calling about our merchant account. When asked to put un on the Do Not Call list, I was told there is no list and she is calling about existing business. I HAVE NO EXISTING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.....THIS IS A SCAM!!! Gave this number as a call back...800-323-1007
Got the same call for the second time. They try to make it sound like there's something urgent going on with a funds transfer. SCAMMERS! Only a fool would buy into this BS.
Ryan calling from FTA calling to speak with you about a couple of aspects of your merchant account.
800-323-1007, ext 6685
bs - our merchant account processor knows who we are and they know how to contact us and these numbers don't match any of its numbers.
I also keep seeing the same positive gush posted above by "Shawn" about how he is saving so much money. BS pal. You work for the same scammers calling.
Just got a call and the lady said I know Ixxx is no longer the owner may I speak to the current owner?" I reply "He is out of Town" She responded "What is her name?" So I said "If you don't know them I'm not going to tell you" and hung up. She called back twice but I let it go to the answering machine. Now business owner info is public record where I live so she could easily find out. Sounded like the usual solicitations we receive early in the week every week.
