Same as a lot of people on here. A merchant account with a company I'm not with has an "issue" and I'm to call back a different number. I can't see a legit company doing this. Couldn't tell if he said FTA or FPA, but found no companies with either names that did what he was claiming to do.
"Kaylie" called for the CEO, said it was about our "FPA merchant account", for processing credit cards. Our business does not accept credit cards. Asked to be removed from their list, she made up an excuse about the information going to the wrong department.

Caller called asked for me by my nickname. Said it was not a sales call. I asked what kind of call then. She said they were a risk finacial company that had the responsibility to call me about my merchant account. She finally identified her company, FTA. In which I said we did research on your company from your many prior calls and found you were a third party and had the worst reputation we could find. I then hung up. She stayed on. My wife picked up to make another call and there she was. After my wife told her where to go and never call again she hung up. My wife called back the number and got someone else. Wifey made her repeat our number 3 times and to never call it back. My wife then asked for her supervisor but the women with a little girls voice said she was the main super directly under the president. What a laugh. My wife tried to keep her on the line longer but finally was hung up on.
480-214-8749. Aggressive young woman demanding to talk with the owner of our business about an FTA merchant's account and credit cards. Sounded like a scam. Checked this site.
Looks like a couple of guys Shawn and Doug tried to get into the mix here with a scammy bunch of bs about how great this FTA is. You can find Shawn on all sorts of other numbers saying the same thing, by the way. And why wouldn't the scammers go to 800notes!
