My name is Pam Stevenson. I purchased the telephone no. 480-243-7468 through magic jack. I can receive messages on the number but I rarely use the number to call out because I have to connect the device to my computer and I only used it when traveling. Somehow someone is calling people on the number and making prank phone calls. I have no idea how they can do that since I have the magic jack device. Please know that magic jack tel numbers can be hijacked like mine has been.
I talked to the person who called. She started to say my name,my account and my addy. Just an fyi...I blocked this number and a similar number. It is the same lady saying she is from cox and that my husband called her about a promotional deal with cox. I said, "no you are not" I said, "nope not us" She kept calling back. Anyway these (2) two numbers are the same slimes (480) 243-7278 and (480) 243-7468.
I am in the 623 area code, only a few miles from 480 area code. I got a call from this number this morning at 5:30 am. My phone service has a feature that differentiates a long distance ring from a local one. Oddly, this call had a long distance ring. When I looked up the number, of course I expected it to be a cell phone because of the long distance ring - only to find out 411.com states it is a land line. I see in the comments below that it is 'magic jack' related which makes me think, though it is a local number, the caller is out of state.
I received a phone call from this number and it's a girl I know named Prescilla Marie Hernandez. She called me saying my address threatening to show up and fight me. Just an FYI to everyone!!!
