Called me...automated message asking to press #9 to lower credit card rate. Pressed 9 and then talked to a guy who was basically trying to get my credit card info. BEWARE!!! major scam
Got a call from this number tonight. Hit "9" to tell them I'm on the do-not-call list. The jerk on the other end said "oh great, we're having a party for you sir. That list doesn't apply to us." Then he hung up on me. I feel like driving to AZ to find him.....
I'm in Mass and they just called me, too. At 5:21pEST. I picked up for once (I ignore 99% of time, but since I got TWO calls today from TWO different numbers (the other was "Texas" 512-916-0420) I thought I'd try and play their game and beat them at it, too!
As I picked up a message started, 'Hi, I'm Ashley and I want to speak to you about your credit card account..." but then my answering machine picked up and we were disconnected!

1. Register their number with the Federal Government's DoNotCall List www.donotcall.gov, if they haven't already. Instructions are clear and easy and it only takes 5 minutes or less.

3. Put in an OFFICIAL COMPLAINT on that site www.donotcall.gov/complaint against EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE CALLS. If you get multiple calls, put in MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS! Of course the CRUD-SUCKING SCUMBAG SCAM ARTISTS do not follow the rules and will not stop calling based on The List, BUT, if we ALL continue to register our OFFICIAL COMPLAINTS with the GOVERNMENT's OFFICIAL SITE, THEN MAYBE the Feds and other law enforcement will GO AFTER these CRIMINALS.
Its fine to complain here - and I always check these sites first to see what other info I can gather, but the ONLY way to STOP these calls is to USE the GOVERNMENT that WE ALL PAY for!
I'm in MN also. My caller id said Unknown Caller. Let it roll over to voicemail - didn't leave a msg. Sure wish the government protected our privacy better. The 'Do Not Call' list is a great idea, but not enforced.
The caller I D showed cell phone from AZ but as soon as I answered it said This is Rachal calling about your credit card. We have no issues with our credit card debt so hung up.
