I received a call from this number tonight and when I tried to do a reverse lookup, nothing came up for the number 480-442-1940. I am on a do not call list as well. I refuse to answer phone calls if I don't know the number calling or if I suspect it to be a telemarketer. Out of curiousity I picked up the phone but said nothing. A man came on using my first name and when he wasn't getting a response he hung up. Next time that number calls me I am going to have a whistle handy and use it as loud as I can when I answer. Maybe a shock and sore eardrum may get the message across that I'm not interested!!
This # calls me at least 3 times in a day-never left a message till today and all it was a person humming some kind of music you would hear in India.... creepy. Wish these calls would stop
On Wednesday morning, November 10th, 2010, I received a call from the phone number; "480-442-1490". The male voice id'ed themselves as being a member of: "Freedom Merchant Funding and Web Media". Their location is Phoenix, AZ. This is the second day that they have called. Just note this message. I do not intend to answer or have any dealings with them. Thank you.
I have received over a dozen calls from this b.s. company, Freedom Merchant Funding. 480-442-1940. I have asked repeatedly to be removed from their calling list. I am on the no call registry but they continually call my cell phone. Earlier today they called again and I immediately asked to speak to a supervisor. I was hung up on. I keep all the info handy in a notepad document so that I can file a complaint each and every time they call. Please help me in getting these guys busted for this crap. The link below is to file a complaint with the FTC, do not call registry.

I received a call this morning from freedom merchant funding, I listened to what they had to say just out of curiosity. The lady I spoke to was named Susie, no last name. They explained their supposed purpose for calling was to basically get me to be an "agent" and they would pay me 2% commission for referring small businesses to their company for merchant funding on visa and mastercard purchases. The cost to start this "business" up is $495.00 hahaha if I had $495 to just spend on a start up kit I wouldn't need it. They make you listen to a voice recording of a man who claims to be the president of the company and he makes it sound very appetizing. However with all the scams out there it definately sounds way to good to be true. I hung up.
