I received a call very similar to this. They called me at my place of employment and threatened that I would be picked up if I did not pay the amount by 12:30 p.m. The gentlemen became upset when I questioned him in regards to the company I obtained the loan from. They also left a message on my cell phone to give Eugene Foster a call back at (484) 220- 1051. The last gentleman "Mr. Williams" I talked to accused me of trying to defraud the law and hung up.
Mr Wilson called left number 484-220-1051. Threatened with arrest for a loan from US National Bank from 2005. A day later, I am not arrested and no call back
i received the same phone call! i contacted my local police department, as well as the federal trade commission and better business bureau, and they state this is a scam and i am not the only one who has reported them. they have my name, phone number, date of birth, social security number, address... full nine yards! i have also called a local television station to investigate as well as the state attorney general.
This is the third call that I have received from this number. Today's call was at 7:38am on 10/24 where the other calls were at 8:06 and 9:07 the morning of 10/23. The caller is named Eugene Foster from the Crime Dept., but doesn't mention any company name. He says it is a time sensitive matter and that if I don't return the call that I am avoiding the legal system. I guess the big question is, What happens when you call the number back and who are they?
My boyfriend is receiving calls at his work phone stating that he has 30 minutes to go to Western Union and pay of a Payday loan or he will be arrested immediately. We contacted the local police and when the scammers called on his cell phone again the police identified themselves. He has not received any more calls on his cell, but they continue to call his work phone. They wanted us to wire money but would not fax us any legal paperwork to back up the funds owed.
I received the same call at my work about thirty minutes ago and they said I owed money from 2005. I asked them to send me some paperwork to prove this was legal and also to see what company I owed this money to. To this they said that they could not send me anything and only after I paid the full amount would I receive a letter saying I paid it off in full. I was told that I have to go to a western union and send them money or they would file the papers in court and I would be arrested. I made them think that I would send them money and they were very happy but as soon as I questioned the fact that I needed something to say who I was sending this to they got upset and said that if I did nto trust them then they would file the charges. I work in the legal field and know that this is not how it works and they cannot just get money from you to avoid charges.
