calls ask for person, we tell him she does not live here and never has, he calls us liars and hangs up and calls back. Then he says he is an officer, never says name of company or why he is calling. Gets real nasty. Will not stop calling. Fed up with this guy!!!!

this guy calls and says there is an unpaid date and then gives the last 4 of   my social, and says that if i dont pay, this will be  turned over to law enforcement. Wont say what the bill is for, and furthermore i dont owe anyone. Says his name is Robert mathewson, then changes his name  everytime he calls. This is deff. the same person rick is talking about, saying that he is an officer, and making all kinds of threats. He has something like an african accent....dont send money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have received several calls from this same company. The man portrays himself as a creditor/officer/investigator. The first time I spoke to them he asked me if I make it a normal practice to steal, take the money and run etc... He told me that I would be arrested at my place of employment and that there was a court case against me. I was flabergasted. After spekaing ot him a little further, I realized this was obviously a scam and they have my information fraudulently. This company has obviously obtained my information somewhere, probably for a payday loan that I obtained and paid off in whole several years ago. Anyhow, I filed a complaint witht he FTC, as you should too. They are using scare tactics to obtain money that is not owed. IF there is in fact a court case against me or anyone else for that matter,  there would have been proper notification. Regardless of the fact taht i know there isnt, they are scary and should be reported to the proper authorities.

I applied for a pay day loan and ended up canceling it with I think cashadvance.com maybe a different one but I know it was one of the bigger companies and minutes after I applied for the loan I received phone calls and text messages about 30-40 times a day for months saying I was approved a loan I still get the occasional here and there now and I applied 4 months ago. Now I have these men from India calling me telling me I'm default on my loan. I get called from 3 different phone numbers and all of them are the same guys I know for sure. The first time I was called I was like wow I must have received that money I applied for and didn't know since I got paid 2 days after I applied. I was like I'm going to get in trouble and I better get this paid! The man on the phone said he was a internet police officer and he was investigating me for internet fraud, grand thief, and about 4 other charges and the only way to get the charges dropped was to pay $752 right now. I told him I was going to call the loan company and I would call him right back but he didn't want me to do that so I just hung up anyway and checked my bank statement online to make sure I never really did get that loan money and not notice it and seen I never received the money I asked to borrow because I canceled the loan the very next day I applied for it. Anyway after I checked my statement no more than 5 minutes after I hung up in the other guy then another Indian guy called me from this 484-223-3753 number saying he was the previous officers supervisor and I stated I canceled the loan and never got the money and he said he had no dealings with that and he said he is here to collect the payment or press the charges so I told him I am not paying because I know you dirt bags are trying to scam me so then he read out my social security number, address, birthday the whole nine yards and for a split second I was like what if they are cops but my brain started to work again and I told him he's several bad names and now they still keep calling me saying they are law enforcement and trying to have me pay them. The very very very sad part is that I'm afraid these dirt bags have already ripped of a good bit of people and there isn't nothing we can do to stop them because the cops aren't going to care the Indians are calling trying to impersonate police and rip people off way off in India!!!! I'm medically retired from the Army and can't work so I'm more than ready to be a witness in court. I won't have anything any better to do might as well do something about these POS's ripping off us good Americans!

Have been receiving calls by person with thick indian accent. This harassment has been going on for several months. Calls are coming from allentown PA, but it is a prepaid phone card number. Claims to have pending lawsuit. Is asking for money to settle. Representing company that doesnt exist. Obvious scam. I have reported to internet fraud, local police, ftc, and states attorney office. Calller will also claim to be officer of court. They call work,cell, home and relatives who are not listed anywhere as contacts. This person has changed numbers several times. But i add each one to my ever growing list. They will threaten violence and also use lewd language on the phone.
