Same as person above. Message was left three times. Stated his name was Steve Martin and ignoring this call would mean a date before a magistrate judge. Caller had a thick accent and said "help us help you". Scammer. I am so sick and tired of these calls. I always google these unknown callers.
Call with very poor connection (cellphone ) from obvious scammer who calls himself Steve Martin - threatens that I will have to appear in court if I don't call him back - claims he is from the Treasury Department - how dumb do these dudes think we are ?....

I just got a call from this number. It was a female asking for someone named Darcy. I said there's no one by that name at this number. She paused, then hesitantly apologized before hanging up. Guess I'll see if they continue to call, then take appropriate actions. I've gotten the calls about money owed/legal action against me from other numbers too. Relentless jerks. Here's to karma!
I've been getting calls like these from several different numbers saying I owe money from an old payday loan from 2009. I know that's a lie. They said I had 3 charges and was going to be arrested if I didn't pay right now. They also said if I hung up the phone I'd be charged with evading. They are such scammers. I get other calls saying it's the irs and I owe back taxes and I'm going to be arrested for tax evasion. It's so crazy. I waste their time now when they call me just to irritate them as much as they irritate me.
