I finally was able to answer the Verafast call with someone on the other end. It was the Chicago Sun-Times trying to get me to re-subscribe after I had canceled the paper.
When I answered the last call from them, it said something about being verified! For what or whom, I don't know! I've gotten 3 calls from them. I hope it is the Sun-Times so I don't have to worry about it.
I receive calls from this number several times a week. Mostly the line hangs up when I answer; once it actually said something about being a verafast verification or something like that.
