A guy with a foreign accent called, said they were a mortgage co, told him I wasnt interested in a refi, he said thats not why he's calling but kept asking for my home loan info, interest rate, loan amount, etc. He said they are a program to make people aware of better rates. Then started again with asking for info so I just hung up.
Telemarketer from U.S. Mortgage, so he says. Spoke broken English, so hard to follow. Started call saying he's following up on my inquiry/phone call; however, I never contacted U.S. Mortgage. Then he went on to how they would save me money on lowering interest rate. I hung up. If not a scammer, it's at least, a very unethical way to do business, acting like I contacted them.
