A guy with a foreign accent called, said they were a mortgage co, told him I wasnt interested in a refi, he said thats not why he's calling but kept asking for my home loan info, interest rate, loan amount, etc. He said they are a program to make people aware of better rates. Then started again with asking for info so I just hung up.
Got the same call, and when i icked up it ws rom someone pitching a maortgage refinance deal. My caller Id identified them as Mortgage Saving. I told them not interested.
several calls in several days. says Morgage Saving on phone. answered once, some gal said U S Mortgage. she asked what my rate was. I told her 14% she hung up. called back left message. some kind of fraud, not what they say. Wonder if from HSBC? But the voice sounds Indian. foreign.
I got a message from this number. Caller ID says 'Mortage Saving.' But the caller was very serious sounding, saying they had received a claim against me and I had one chance to call them and give them my address so they could send 'formal' notice. They were obviously trying to freak me out and get me to call back, but I'm not going to. If there was a real claim against me, whoever had the claim would already have my address. So it's just scare tactics.
