Wanted to speak to the credit manager about processing invoices. Whatever, I told him we weren't interested in his services and hung up. Based on what I've read here, my guess is that they'll call back, again and again. Don't catch me at a bored moment people, I will screw with you for fun.
Got a call from "Paul" from Credit Safe wanting me to log on to blah blah blah. I said I wasn't interested. He blurted out more blah blah blah and couldn't believe I wasn't interested. He asked what kind of business we were and I told him a law office. "Oh, I wish you would've told me that before I spit all this out," he said verbatim, laughed and hung up. What an idiot! First, he never ASKED what kind of business this was, and second, he obviously doesn't know who he calls in the first place! "Pennsylvania" appeared on caller ID. A lot of good being on the Do Not Call list does!
Some guy calling and asking for credit manager or whoever handles our accounts. I just said no. He said "they're not in?" I said no, I wouldn't put him through to anyone and hung up. Losers called yesterday and the owner had to tell them four times he didn't need their services before he finally just hung up. I said now you see the crap I have to put up with daily!
I have received 3 calls from this number today. I didn't answer the first two calls thinking it was probably a telemarketer. I answered third call and listened to the women on the phone laughing and asking to speak with Person in charge of Accounts
Receivablel. I told her she had the wrong number and not to call again. I think it is a scam.
484-860-3700 Pennsylvania called our business 4 times in less than 2 minutes. The first call I answered and they asked to speak to our Financial Controller or our CFO. News flash, we don't have either one. I asked where they were calling from and they vaguely said "Credit Services". I asked what this was regarding and they said it was regarding our business credit and again demanded to speak to our non-existent CFO. I politely said "no thank you, we're not interested." and hung up.
This is where things got crazy. The same guy called back immediately and when I answered, told me, "Wow, I can't believe how rude you were!" EXCUSE ME?? You're the one calling back when I already told you No Thank You. I again politely said "No Thank you, we are not interested, please do not call again" and hung up a second time.
He then immediately called back a third time, demanding to speak to my manager. I again said No Thank You, please don't call again and hung up.
He called A FOURTH TIME, again demanding my manager so "he could report my rude behavior." At this point, my coworkers were laughing in the background because of how ridiculous this was. I said for a fourth time, 'We are NOT interested! DO NOT call again!!"
No more calls, yet. At least now I know what number to look out for. For the record, I was extremely professional and polite the entire time, that's my job. This company's intimidation and scare tactics (threatening to complain to my manager, lol ok buddy) are what's unprofessional and rude.
This "person" that called was in the middle of a conversation with someone else there at his call center when he called our business. It was a very foul mouthed, profanity filled conversation that I didn't appreciate at all. My reply to him was "REALLY! You call ME and preface a sales call with THAT kind of language?!!!" He summarily hung up on me, which is just as well because I was about to do the same to him.
