That's NOT true. Those companies will tell you the same thing, too. Look CLOSELY at the FTC code, and it does NOT say "research" companies are exempt. If you want to get specific - they'r soliciting for information. But in fact... government surveys and non-profit research are the ONLY exempt! I went head to head with a research CEO, and finally conceded I was correct.
I just received a call from this # saying it was a wrong # these people initiate the first call as a wrong # to see what time you will answer, than the mass call begins. These are probably the same mass callers I'm getting from 701-221-2212 and 123-456-7890 as they too originate from Quest and their corp # 501-221-
Thank You to the poster who tracked them down! As my call did not give any information except the location. OK this is what I do when I have an 800 contact #!!!!!!!!!! I will call them every few min and tell them if they do not remove me from their list I will continue to call. They usually become nasty and outraged after the 10-20th call and remove me from their call list. Ha Ha Ha sweet revenge!!

This number keeps coming up on my caller id. I followed through and reported them to the donotcall list, which I have been on now for over 2yrs. I also sent them an e-mail informing them that I have reported them and for them to remove my number from their database asap.
this is a a company that does follow up surveys for qwest quality control. You probably have called qwest for something or paid your bill over the phone and now they want to know how the service was. When you went with qwest you waived all rights for a no call list when it concerns qwest dealing with you, it is the Eula ;] ..... if you anwser it and tell then no thanks it stops.
Maybe if you weren't hiding from bill collectors you wouldn't have to screen your calls like your hiding from the Nazis. Just say hi & no thanks cause they will call until you do.

I picked up and they started asking questions. Asking if anyone in my home worked for a phone company, cell or internet company. Then they asked who my phone provider is. I hung up. My number is on the no call list.
The guy on the other end was talking in a fake voice.
