I answered this call thinking it was my son calling from a friends phone, since it was a local number. Caller said his name was Scott and he wanted to offer me a great deal on a weekend trip because I stayed at one of their resorts. Funny, I haven't been anywhere in a year. Anyway, other phone number blocked on my phone.
I have gotten any number of calls from this number. The first time I got the Verizon message. I do use Verizon and I'd like to know how they would react if they knew someone was spoofing one of their phone numbers. Probably just blow it off!! I got a T-Blocker machine and added this number to it immediately. Now it does show up on my T-Blocker as the call did come in, but I never hear the ring. The blocker just answers and hangs up. When I see a 501 area, I generally just add it to the black (red button) list. It always tells me it is a repeat call. So I know it's come through quite a few times.
Dummies looks like they would tire of being hung up on and move on to someone else.
These people called me from the number 501-219-7201. I blocked them on my call blocker and now they are calling from 501-515-7201. What number are they going to call from next?
