Phone rang and before I could get to it the number disappeared and it was not in my call log. I thought that was perculiar. Just picked up my phone and noticed that an app (Mr. Number) had blocked the call and marked it as spam. Good job.
Same story as everyone else. She dropped her headset, was super giggly. When I told her I was at work and didn't have time to be transferred to a travel coordinator at this time and requested she send me some information in the mail she disconnected the call.
I got the exact same chirpy call this morning. Said I'd recently stayed in some resort so qualified for a range of prizes and awards. (I've never been in a resort in my life!) I waited until I thought I could get a word in edgewise to tell the poor woman she'd got the wrong number....she seemed not to grasp that and asked me if I was between 18 and 70, and did I have at least $40000 a year in income. I told her no, am disabled....things went quiet, and I hung up and blocked the number.
These telemarketer automated messages are getting smarter every year. The "headset" thing i guess is their idea of an authentic touch. I just feel bad for people who fall for it! anyway, yeah, this number is a scam
