I received a call from this number from a fellow with a foreign accent saying that they'd received a number of errors coming from my computer. I dismissed them, but assume this is some sort of phishing by phone. They gave a company name, but I didn't hear it clearly. The caller ID shows this number and "Name Not Found."
same as others-heavy middle eastern accent saying that "they" received error messages from "your" computer. Seeing as how we have 5 computers in house, obviously was a scam call & immediately told him where to go & hung up.
This guy with an accent has called us everyday for the past two weeks and it's to the point where we would like to be able to report it somehow. He told me he worked for QTech but the other day he told my mother that he worked for Microsoft. Every time he calls he says "I'm the computer guy." The number we get is the same 5030001235
This company called me with 2 numbers; the one listed here and also 305-224-1023. They gave me the # 347-305-2013 to call them back at (when I was able to connect to my computer so they could 'instruct' me how to 'fix' the error messages they were receiving from it. ) I assume they are trying to connect remotely to get personal info. to use for identity theft scams.
