This guy with an accent has called us everyday for the past two weeks and it's to the point where we would like to be able to report it somehow. He told me he worked for QTech but the other day he told my mother that he worked for Microsoft. Every time he calls he says "I'm the computer guy." The number we get is the same 5030001235
Received a call from 503-000-1235 at 3:15pm on 08/25/14. The guy with heavy Indian accent said he worked for company that was receiving errors from my computer. I know better that my computer is not sending errors to them unless they know what computer it is.
I have recieved these calls almost daily. I usually don't answer them. I answered on and the guy told me they were recieving errors on microsoft windows from my computer. One time I told them we did not have computers in our house when in fact we have four of them. They hung up. These people always have a foreign accent and half the time you can't understand them. I have ask them numerous times to stop calling and then you recieve another call from a different person with accent for same reason. Same people same issue with your computers different callers. I don't answer unknown callers or blocked numbers.
Just got a call from "Mark" telling me that for the last few weeks my computer has been sending him alerts and he works in IT so he can fix it for me. My response? "No Mark, you're not. That's not happening. That's not a thing." His response? To go silent for ten seconds and then hang up on me.
This is a scam. Your computer doesn't send alerts to randoms because you need Tech Support.
you know the story already...indian dude...Ifix. told me the street address where my computer was. Thankfully I moved addresses and told him they better call the lady that bought my house. he hung up.
