This guy with an accent has called us everyday for the past two weeks and it's to the point where we would like to be able to report it somehow. He told me he worked for QTech but the other day he told my mother that he worked for Microsoft. Every time he calls he says "I'm the computer guy." The number we get is the same 5030001235
They called once this afternoon (from 503 000 1235) and then two times this evening (from a "private number"). I didn't answer the phone for the first call and my phone automatically blocks private numbers. It looks like I wasted the time of a scammer!
Shawn/Sean calls me almost daily. I copy his Indian accent and have kept him on the phone for nearly 20 minutes at a time rambling on and on about the rides at Disney World, the stormy weather, asking him if he parties or works all the time, telling him about my 23 indoor cats and my 37 outdoor cats, how my husband left me and would he be interested in being my new husband.... and so on.... I've had him laughing quite a few times. Eventually he says it's his break time and he has to go (LOL) He always calls back.... but I never can seem to get to my computer because I have so much to talk to him about.... LOL
Same thing here. Indian guy. My computer is sending them error messages. Repeated calls. One time I let him run through all the instructions and then told him, after he verified many Windiws errors, that I had a Mac. He freaked and hung up. Another time I just called him outright a liar and said "shame on you!" I finally had it and the last call I asked him if he was religious because I was going to go eat a cow.
Using a suggestion made earlier by a previous poster, I answered the call in Spanish. This made him mad as he insisted we talked the evening before in English; we had. After I refused to speak any English, he told me, "Don't make fool of me!" and hung up.
