I forgot to mention, they are making calls on behalf of Funeral Homes across the nation... offering special package deals for future needs. The Funeral Home they used in our conversation was one in my old home town... and my wife and I have used that FH for services of our parents. I guess that really legitimized their call to me because I did/do have a business relationship with that FH. We contacted the FH and told them to take us off their call list... we emphasized that they should simply call us themselves because I don't respond to telemarketers' calls, especially ones from half way across the nation (Portland to Wichita) and ones who won't leave a message or identify themselves right off. I have better things to do with my time.... send me a brochure.

I also received a call from 503-205-4042 following a recent death in the family and they were calling to follow up on the quality of service from the cemetery and funeral home.
