These guys are still at it (CID indicates Transcom Enhance) with a local Portland number - say there is a problem with my computer and they would be more then "helpful" with walking throught the steps with me. Broken English - pure scam. Click!
A woman East Indian accent, stated I have funds from the Federal Gov. I replied the government would contact me and not on Saturday, she hung up. Do not give them personal information, miss lead them.
Got a call again from this number. I never say anything when I pick up. Usually they just hang up. This time some guy started laughing so I gave him something to laugh about. I keep an air horn on my desk just for these calls. Guy is probably still deaf in one ear...You can pick up a small one for a $1 at the dollar store.
Our company got a call from this number saying that the toner we ordered would be delayed a couple weeks, if that was ok. I probed her further, in addition to telling her I hadn't ordered recently. She got so frustrated she said, "Fine, I'll just cancel this order." Then she hung up.
Got a call from this number on my cell and then at work. I knew it had nothing to do with work, since they called my cell first. Left a message for me on my work phone saying that I needed to call this number and give them this claim number: MICK-2430; said something about having a restraining order against me?? I haven't even had a driving ticket for over 20 years! Caller had a weird accent,too...
