503-457-1413 claims they are a credit card company calling to lower your APR.. I pushed 1 to speak to someone, Melissa answered.. I said I do not have any credit cards.. take this # off of your list and she hung up. There was no option to be removed from the list.
I have found the a whistle really works well.
Do not call list is a big joke anymore..
BEWARE. Using deceptive language, they try to make you think there's something wrong with your credit. They're NOT from your own credit card company, but from a company trying to intimidate you into giving your information and (eventually, no doubt) your money. HANG UP before they fleece you!
Best to never call back a number that appears in your caller id display... for if you do... your # is logged as a "live" or "active" number... which is valuable to other telemarketers... automated machines log tens of thousands of numbers which are then sold to other telemarketers... which do it all over again...
I p/u call, person mentioned my computer has a virus. Caller spoke with an Indian accent/ India.
I hung up on him. It's a scam and I would not trust this group.
