They called my 13 year old daughter on her cell! she was so upset that she called me crying. she told me that the never told her it was and she thought it was some creeper. Who ever is doing this stop! who ever they are they need to call parents and home phones. I am outraged that they called her. When she tried to ask what the call was about they hung up. Stop calling my little girl.
I got a text from this number at about 130AM the other night. Very annoying! Its says to reply "stop" to end the msgs but I'm wary of doing that. I guess I'll have to deal with it!
Keep copies of phone bills that will detail incoming calls, most phone plans do. If not, keep your own records; date, time, conversation, etc. Call your State Attorney General Office and file a complaint. List ALL of your phone numbers, home and cell, on your state's Do Not Call List. My state says they don't include cell phone numbers but I listed mine anyway, and guess what!!? They eventually stopped. The DNC List takes a little time to become effective so be patient there. Unfortunately, you have to be proactive or these creeps will continue to call you, and/or your children. They don't care! These people had been calling my home for a family member that we don't keep in touch with, they became rude, obnoxious, condescending, threatening, and would call back and hang up. That, in itself, is harrassment and charges can be filed against them. I certainly understand your concerns when they call your children, make a police report. Bad enough that they frightened your daughter. You can't take any chances when it comes to your children... You don't know who they are.... You don't know their intentions....
