from 6 404 4693877 - man with Indian accent said he was from Bell - hung up and did no realize the area code was 404 u - my phone quit working right after - will reprot thsi number to my phone provider - going to reinstate no answer policy unless I know the number calling.
Got a call from "Steve" (a man with an Indian accent) who said he wanted to talk to me about my computer. I had just been watching a youtube video about scammers and immediately thought of that so began laughing. Loudly. Then I hung up. The ID came up as Tibbs Barnabus.
Call at 6:45 am. "Robin from Windows Technical Support." When I said I would report him for making a call at that time, he hung up and somehow erased the number on caller ID.
I received two calls from this person. Last week he called at 7 a.m. I told him I didn't have a Windows computer. I also said a few unprintable things. He call again today and I told him I was 80 years old, living in a senior housing center and didn't have a Apple computer. He hung up.
I have been wondering what their game was so I hung with him long enough for him to ask me to pull up the RUN dialog. He wanted to get me to enter the CMD (Command) line so he could check if this computer had a key logger. I got tired of asking him WHY, WHY and WHY and hung up on him while I was talking and fading away. He tried calling back but I block his call. He obviously wanted to gain access to my laptop I guess for a fee.
