this number has called 6-8 times per day and "Miss Young" leaves a message saying that it is extremely important that we call her back. She has even called my husband's parents home and left irritating messages (he is 45 and has not lived there in 25 years). Very annoying, calls at 7AM and 9PM.
DO NOT fall for this company's deceitful and unlawful practices. They are nothing but a 2-bit collection agency who does not believe in playing by the rules. The only rules they believe in are deceit, lying, intimidation, and bullying. If you tell them to cease and desist from calling you or harassing you, and they continue, you need to report them to your state's attorney general's office. The FDCPA (Federal Debt Collection Practices Act) applies, and you can sue them too. (People have sued debt-collectors for violating the FDCPA and have actually won a lot of money.)
Just DO NOT fall for their deceit though - things like "I'm a private investigator" or "I'm just calling to advise you that my client has asked me to look into your assets and finances". News flash - it doesn't work that way, they need to take you to court and get a judgment against you first, and that requires hiring very expensive lawyers, i.e. it'll cost them a lot more money than the amount they may be alleging due.
DO NOT fall for their tricks, instead report them. It's only a matter of time before the law cracks down on them and shuts them down. Good luck!
I agree with all of you. Linda Blair has continuously threatened and harassed me and my associates. We are filing a formal complaint as well as pursing criminal charges against her.
