A stuttering white male voice spoke, and I cursed him out soundly. Remember, these calls are robo-calls. It was only a matter of time before the calls began to hit area 504. They've been hitting the rest of the nation for months now.
Tries to trick you into pressing one to accept shipment of senior medical devise. I have been receiving calls from 318-000-2121, 318-309-4967, 318-1471, 504-533-8231 two times per week for months. It dose not matter if you answer, or not you will continue receiving the same recorded message twice a week, I guess forever. I keep blocking his numbers, but the phone continues ringing that one time twice a week any way.
They must be getting numbers from people on Medicare. I am on Medicare and got calls from them. This should be illegal. How did they get my numbers or anyone elses number? Does Medicare sell phone numbers? Or publish them?
From White Pages comes this comment: "Heavy Spam Activity". I called back, and was told "this number is no longer in service". Please see the Forum topic "I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up" about these scams.
I get calls from this number almost every day. My elderly mom gets them ... she's pretty savvy thank goodness, but nevertheless. We would LOVE for them to stop.
