if you go online and type in Goldman and associates there are several different businesses. in different states. some say law firms and some say drs. and some say real estate agencies. so who knows who these people are.
I just received the same message, via an automated caller. I have never had a payday loan from anywhere, But the call said I had 2 complaints against my social security number and if I didn't call them back, I would have no rights when the summons comes. If my daughter(a minor) had answered this call she'd have freaked out thinking I was going to jail. But I search out all these random numbers on the net, and while I'm sorry for this sad situation, I'm glad I'm not in it alone.
I just recieved the same call and googled their number and came up with this thread. I live in KY but had a son in graduate school in LA some time back--probably 5 or more years since he graduated but he moved back to KY. I'm guessing maybe they have paind for some some kind of credit data and have info from him with my phone number attacehd to it? Don't know. I figured it was a scam. Sounds like some authorities are aware of this, so I'm not going dto do anything at this point but will notify my attorney if I get another phone call.
I just got the call from 504-535-5869, stating that I too have 2 complaints of fraud against my social security number. I don't know what the heck this person is talking about, and hope the people who are doing this get real jobs and leave us working citizens alone. I have contacted my local authorities once before, I guess I will have to call them again....so fed up with these kind of people! Low down losers!
They called my cell phone yesterday saying the same thing about a summons. I then got home from work yesterday, and there was a message on my home phone from them, for a completely different person.
