I hung up on a man with a heavy Indian accent who said that his name was John and that he was with ATT&T and that because I was a good paying customer we qualified to have 30% off of our long distance calls blah blah blah
"John" with heavy accent claims he is with CenturyLink calling about my long distance -- I don't have long distance. Asked him for a phone number I can call him back - no reply. Asked where he was calling me from - "Wyoming". Called [***]. Odd thing, each time I interrupted "John" he would have to start all over. Just cuz . ....... I kept interrupting him so he would have to start over. If he/they are going to waste my time, I might as well do it on their nickel. CID said LOUISIANA. States don't call people.
Caller representing my phone service trying to let me know I would be getting a reduction on my long distance (which is not on my service). These people then are able to basically roll your service over to their phone service (whatever that might be) Call your real phone service and have a Pick Freeze put on your local # and your long distance. That way they will be unable to move your service.
John with a thick Indian accent says he's calling from Verizon wirh a discount on long distance calls, 3rd call in 2 days. We are on the National Do Not Call registry so why are we receiving these calls??
