Recording said it was a courier claiming that a package was undeliverable, and to press 1 to update my address or speak with courier. Transferred me to a guy saying I took out a pay day loan 6 years ago that was still in default. I've never taken out a pay day loan. Do they really think people don't ever see their own credit reports? I know my open accounts and a pay day loan is nowhere on the list.
This caller told me that a courrier service was unable to deliever my package and to press #1 to reschedule the delivery and to obtain a current address. The caller sounded like a robo call and even though I am expecting a package, the fact that they did not identify themselves was a hint that this was probably a scam. I didn't say a word and they hung up.
Scam! Trying to fool you into thinking you owe them a loan and are trying to scam you out of your money by threatening to take you to court or have you pay it. BEWARE!
I just recieved a call from that unbound 24243 they were trying to collect a so called debt from 5 years ago which i never had.Remember serious debt collections have to be presented in writing, this is a scam attempt.
This caller told me that a courier service had a package for me that was undeliverable and I should press #1 to reschedule delivery. I hung up. From other comments on here, I expect more calls. I had payday loans in the past, and these scam artist who buy info on payday loans try to scam you out of money you do not owe. even on payday loans you paid off tem or more years ago. Until out government (LMAO) does something about these scammers, it will never cease, and I am not changing my number.
Called and told me that I had an undeliverable package and to push #1. I am expecting a package so I did. Argued with a lady about a payday loan from 7 years ago. So I told her to send me my "notice to appear" letter and I will fight it out in court. Already preparing all my bank statements to prove that money was never deposited in my account. Let's see if I really get my letter.
