This number called our business today at 1501 hours. Caller ID only said "Framingham MA." I suspected a possible spoofed number from a scam artist. I picked up the phone but didn't answer immediately. When I did, there was a bloop sound then a second later a guy (or a computer made to sound like a real person) said, "Hi. This is John. I'm looking for the business owner." I sighed to myself and asked, "Who are you." A suspicious pause (perhaps the program was searching for the right response), then, "Capital Funding --" I immediately told "John" to F-off (only I spoke less politely) and slammed the phone back down. We have been inundated with calls from loan sharks trying to give us "capital" for our business. We don't have ANY loans, don't want any loans, and don't need any loans but you can't tell these persistent blood-sucking spammers/scam artists that. They just keep calling again and again anyway. For the heck of it, I blocked our number and called the number that had showed up in the caller ID. It kept ringing and ringing. No one answered. Yeah, they're a legitimate company alright. Real, reputable lending companies wouldn't need to hide their identities, would have real landlines, and don't use VoIP (and possibly spoofed phone numbers) to avoid the law.

Received a call from this number to my cell phone a few days ago. Wasn't nearby but wouldn't have answered anyway since it was not a number that I recognized. No message left. Agree with LML. These calls are really a pain.
