They called six times in one afternoon. Believe it's a robo-call marketing secondary utility. They claim to lower your gas/electric bills. Not sure if it's a scam, but definitely robocalling Telemarketing.
This number called my DNC listed landline at 1657 hours. When I saw it was (allegedly) in the same area code, I let it ring an extra few times, picked up but didn't say anything at first and then finally said, "Hello?" There was an electronic squawk and then it disconnected. I blocked my caller info and called that number back from a different phone number. Surprise, surprise. I got a recording (one that didn't sound like the usual phone company one) that told me the number I reached was disconnected or no longer in service. In other words, it was a scam artist illegally spoofing a phone number
FOR YOUR INFORMATION I report EACH and EVERY ONE; what are YOU doing to help the problem? As a matter of fact, I'm online right now, submitting to the DNC list for all the calls we've gotten this month so far. ASSume much???
