hi - what is the phone # for the Official / US Gov do not call list? im getting a TON of marketing calls - afraid to use the #s on the web as im not sure they are credable
Answered and it was someone from (unaudible) electric company regarding my electric bill and that my rate was going to go down. Needed a copy of my electric bill and would wait while I went to get it. I asked if this was through Eversource and was responded to with a hangup. Smelled pretty scammy to me.
Telemarketer from dubious company calling from 508-683-0399 asking to get a copy of my electric bill while he waits on the phone (ha!). 10 second intro claimed 20% savings on my bill. I told him never to call me again and to take a hike and he said he would just keep calling back. Attorney General's office should find out about these scammers.
