hi - what is the phone # for the Official / US Gov do not call list? im getting a TON of marketing calls - afraid to use the #s on the web as im not sure they are credable
Caller said they were calling from National Grid, asking if they had seen the notice that I would be receiving a 20% off my future bill on my previous bill. They asked me to go find my bill so that they can point out to me where this information was listed. I told her that it was lunch time for my toddler and I would have to call her back but she said that she would have to call me directly and she would do so later. Seems suspicious.
I picked up. A woman said said that there is a program that can lower my electric bill by 20% and asked me to give her information on my electric bill to her.... I just turned off my phone after that.
Received call from this number. Said it was from some electric company. told me to get my electric bill from National Grid and sit down with a cup of coffee. I told her I was not interested and she said that my electric company told them to call me. I told her I was not interested and she said in what. This is my cell phone and I don't give it out to companies. When I tried to tell her to take my name of list, she hung up. Am on do not call list for cell phones.
Call, no ans, leaves no mes, constant. On my business phone in an area where I do business. When I block it, they just move to another local number. Tiresome.
