Everyone needs to go to the FTC complaint assist every time they receive one of these calls. I've been doing this every time since a few days ago, because these calls will just not stop! Maybe someone there will actually do something about it if they get enough complaints!!?!?!
Ensure that your telephone number is on the Do Not Call Registry. Once it has been in the database for about 30 days, you can file complaints on any unsolicited phone calls.
Are any of you on the do not call list? Do you still get these calls? I just checked and my cell is not on the list but my other phones are. I get these calls on my cell everyday from several different numbers. I'm hoping they will stop once I'm on the list...but, maybe I'm being too optimistic. I also block every number that they call from, but they seem to have an infinite supply. Someone should be able to determine who they are and how to be removed from their calling list. I would love to give them a taste of their own medicine.......
I have a new cell number and it has only been given to friends and family yet the above listed number has been calling and telling me repeatedly by recording that the warranty on my vehicle is about to expire!!! What is up with this? At first I thought the vehicle belonged to the previous person that used this phone number but then decided to google the number and see what popped up and here I am. Does anyone have a solution??
I too got a call from this number, but didn't answer as to not knowing who the number belonged to.
I WOULD ADVISE NOT ANSWERING YOUR PHONE WHEN THEY CALL, THEY WON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE, BUT DON'T CALL BACK!! THAT IS HOW THEY START CALLING YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN.
I have gotten several calls from several different numbers that are scams and etc. I never answer and they actually don't ever call back. A different # may randomly call here and there, but it isn't nearly half as bad as answering or calling back for them to call you again and again. So I would recommend doing that!
