Calls my number at least 6 or 7 times a day. Caller ID says "Service call", they call as late as 8:58 PM. Over a month these annoying calls have been coming in. I have picked up the phone on occasion and no one says anything. It's like they're harrassing me because I won't talk with them. I am on "no-call" and am so tired of these constant interruptions. Please stop them.
Finally got an answer today. They've been calling 4 to 8 times a day for the past few weeks. I HAD been ignoring it because it said "SERVICE CALL" and I figured it was someone trying to sell us something. I went from not answering to picking up the phone. No answer at the other end. Tried to call back the number and it wouldn't go through (no ringing noise) or it would time-out and come back with a message saying the line was busy and to try the call again later. Turns out this is one of the disabled veterans organizations (at least that's what they say) and when I complained to him he said he apologizes but they use an automatic dialer and after three rings it cuts off but sometimes the call doesn't drop. I told him I wanted them to stop calling but he just went into his sales pitch again. I kept interupting and saying I want the calls to stop but there was no acknowledgement on his part. So basically.... if you don't answer or give money they will continue harassing you forever. If you give money they'll stop calling for a month or two. I'm so pissed off that I could spit. I wish I knew where their office was and exactly who I was talking to so I could visit them face-to-face. Sad part of this all is that my husband is a Vietnam vet and after treatments for prostate cancer, he is now fighting lymphoma. He would like to take naps and we had to turn off the ringer on the phone in the bedroom because of all the scams and charities that won't take no for an answer. I'd love to have an automated calling program and the home phone numbers for all of these telemarketers. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
PLEASE STOP CALLING ME SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. MAKE these calls stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even when I do answer no one will speak. I tried to call back but it says all circuits are busy. This is HARASSMENT. They do not even allow you to press a number for a do not call list.
