Was on the other line when this number popped up on my second line. When tried to receive the 2nd call, the caller already hung up. I tried calling back and the message states that I have reached County of Alameda but it is a non-working phone number...
I received a similar call from 1-510-670-8540. The number called twice, disconnected both times, and when I called back I got an electronic message from Alameda county. Anyone know what it is?

I would be willing to be it is the Jury Commissioner's office, trying to follow up on a missed or re-scheduled jury duty. I have been getting calls from this number, too, but have not been able to answer them at work, and the pinheads never leave a message.
