Received a call from this number just now. Also an Indian accent asking for confirmation that my title is Dir of National Sales. Unfortunately I said yes. Which is not what I probably should have said as they can use that recording now for other charges I've been told.
They called, gave the address that this number is too and asked if that was correct, then asked for our fax number. I then asked who was calling and they hung up. when i called back the voicemail was for anhelga harrington...
A woman with an accent that sounded like she was from India called our business, saying she was with some research firm to verify our address and the name of one of the partners. I told her she can verify our current information by visiting our website. This is probably just for some list that will be sold, and I don't want any more solicitation or robo-calls than I'm already getting.
It took a bit for the caller to get connected. Then some inda sounding lady came on. She asked if I could hear her. Yes, young lady what's up. (Hang up)
Am receiving an increasing amount of calls from this number. People with accents want to speak with either a specific person or anyone in IT, so they can send white papers. They swear not to be selling anything, but in this company, white papers are solicitations that go to Purchasing.
A Melinda Jones calls from a research company. Sounds like Melinda was raised in India. She asks for a specific person and then calls back and asks for another person. Put her on hold and will only hold a few seconds and then she hangs up.
