Received a call from this number just now. Also an Indian accent asking for confirmation that my title is Dir of National Sales. Unfortunately I said yes. Which is not what I probably should have said as they can use that recording now for other charges I've been told.
Woman in noisy call center said she was calling from chamber of commerce. knew my name and wanted to confirm my job title. She had it right but I wouldn't confirm and asked what it was for and she hung straight up.
A guy with thick accent called asking if I can confirm someone's title within the company as well as confirm our address. It sounded like the call was coming from a call center (lots of noise in the background). I told him the person they were looking for doesn't work here (lie).
