Received a call from this number just now. Also an Indian accent asking for confirmation that my title is Dir of National Sales. Unfortunately I said yes. Which is not what I probably should have said as they can use that recording now for other charges I've been told.
Called me at work today, couldn't understand what they were saying but I told them they had the wrong number. I'm sure they were trying to sell me something.
Yes I got a call today @ 15:39 number is from Peru.....
They asked if I was the head of IT and they were form the Florida Chamber of commerce with a thick Indian Accent
I told the politely to not call again and not to contact this number ever again
Received a call today from a man asking to verify the address and phone number for our company. I hung up as this is obviously a scam. He called back immediately from same # with 011 added to the beginning of the number...indicating to me that this was definitely a scam.
He asked again to verify our address and phone number. I asked him several times why he needed the information. He kept telling me to "update our information for the listing on the website" The website he gave me is www.thebluebook.com
I asked him if our company is already listed on this website...he kept responding with "once you confirm it, yes, it will be updated" Not what I was asking. I asked him no less than three times if our company was already listed and he said yes. I asked him where I could find it on their website, as I was not able to find out listing. He told me to hold so he could get our "id #" and he disconnected the call.
