Yes, I am getting these calls. But I haven't had a land line phone for years. Just got one a couple of months ago and no one knows my number. But I keep getting calls for the person that had this number before me. Bank mortgae people calling, credit card people , Dr. Offices. Just all kinds of people calling asking for the couple that had this number before. Evidently phone com. didn't let number stay vacant very long before they reassigned it. I got all the other calls stopped. Now just this one. I could get my phone number changed, but then have to go thru all of that again. Or I could remove my phone and go back to not having land line. Don't really need it. Use my cell phone all the time.
Robo call saying this is Municipal Services Bureau calling about an important matter. And to call them back they are open until 11pm tonight. Well that's not going to happen. Caller ID had Gila Corp
They have been calling me for 18 months. They don't realize that they have been blocked for over a year So much for robots. We do not owe anything so do not know why they continue. I have reported this to a friend who is with the local police, and she said that this was a scam.
the caller ID said GILA Corp, 512-532-8633, left a msg saying they are not a sales call, to call them back at 800-295-0851. Not calling. We have no outstanding debts, and no one knows our landline number, so they can kiss my butt.
I live in California and get this harassing call day and night .someone suggested that I buy a caller Id machine which has a call blocker function. I think consumer affairs in Sacramento might be able to help or look up a website called ; www.pipl.com(for investigations) never answer a call until you hear the recording!
