Yes, I am getting these calls. But I haven't had a land line phone for years. Just got one a couple of months ago and no one knows my number. But I keep getting calls for the person that had this number before me. Bank mortgae people calling, credit card people , Dr. Offices. Just all kinds of people calling asking for the couple that had this number before. Evidently phone com. didn't let number stay vacant very long before they reassigned it. I got all the other calls stopped. Now just this one. I could get my phone number changed, but then have to go thru all of that again. Or I could remove my phone and go back to not having land line. Don't really need it. Use my cell phone all the time.
They've been calling everyday and annoying me with their messages. I just called the 800#, and to my surprise, they were very polite. Our # is listed with just a first initial and last name. They were looking for someone else with that initial. We get calls due to this frequently. I think all our calls are junk...So frustrating. I'm not sure why we even have a home number...ugh
