Some lady named Lisa Carter called my relative today and told her that i would be getting a judgement from the court if I didnt respond by 2pm. I have no idea who this person is or what they want. I called by to inquire and the person is not available to speak with me.
Has anybody received a call from this number? The caller, Stephanie Wilson, states she is with the Fraud and Worthless Check Division, provides a faile number, and goes on to say that if my attorney or I do not call back within two hours shewill report me to the State. II am then told to govern myself accordingly.
Husband got a message like Mitch. From Stephanie Wilson. She read us the same script. Wanted $800 and got down to settle for $547!!! We kept asking her to send us something in the mail....still waiting on that letter. SCAM!!!!! Also a person name Jimmy wilson is on the voice mail with some fake law firm name. We checked the name and their is no building in the location that they indicated....Are these people serious!!! Last time I checked I was not stupid!!!! Hope this helps
some bozo called with that same mono tone voice you see on tv show law & orders shows, with a day day loan claim that "could " be filed in my county, unless i elected to settle out of court. I asked for the callers full name and the adress of his law firm, along with an authentication letter along with an itemized structure of what i owe. then I asked for him to send it return reciept requested.....he hung up
i looked up the 513 330 9947 he called from and it came from a cell phone!!
