Yeah I just got a call from this phone number a minute ago. I have been getting a call from another number which I googled and found out was a collection agency. They asked to speak to Dan... told them it was a new number for me and I dont know Dan. Then about two hours later this number called me looking for Dan again. Told them the same thing. I don't think they are listening.
They've called me every week day for the past week and a half twice a day. I've only answered it once and they hung up exactly 5 seconds later. I just called them back and was on the phone for about 6 minutes listening to their hold machine. at about the 5.5 minute mark I got a "Business hours" message, I was calling well within the business hours and was told to call back "During the business hours."
I just received a call from this number as well about 2 mins ago. I recently changed my cell number, as soon as I did that, I started receiving calls from this number. I never answer the calls.
This number claims to be a collection agency with wells fargo bank. I called wells fargo through their 1-800 number and they assured me that wells fargo does not make any outbound calls from any numbers except 1-800 numbers and that if a number calls and claims to be wells fargo do not give any information b/c it is fraud. After finding this out , the number called back and i answered and told them i had contacted wells fargo and they claim to not have this number registered with them and asked for the ladies name and she hung up. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION!
