I've received calls from 515-270-0779 the past two nights around 6:40 p.m. Tonight the call came in from 515-270-0780 and when I picked up it immediately disconnected. I hit the redial button and heard "This is ...(muffled), can I help you"? in a woman's voice, but I hung up. I have a friend who lives in this area code and thought it might be their new number. Obviously it's not.
I got calls from the 0780 number and the 0779 number, but I didn't answer either one. They never left a message and tried once in the morning and once in the evening. I'm getting married soon, and I can about bet that David's Bridal gave out my number. How irritating!
The calls are almost always about you either "winning" a bridal package, or being invited to a presentation at a local hotel for Royal Prestige cookware. If you look around, you can see that there are rampant reports about this company. (Not to say that there are not some satisfied customers as well.) If you call back the number that shows up on your caller ID, or call back whichever number they leave with you, you can ask that they remove your number from their call list. Quick and easy.
(They obtained my information from a bridal show I had attended before my wedding.)
I just got a call from the 0780 number and it's late at night... David's bridal, just like some of the other girls. I reversed looked up the number on yellowbook.com and it said the company was R P I Inc. Which google says is an insurance company :( IDK
I got a call from the 0780. It's RP Bridal. So that's why you're getting calls. I am getting married soon also, and what they said when I answered one time (although they tried again later) is that I won some cookware at the bridal show I was just at, I just have to go to their show at a local hotel for an hour long presentation, and then we can get our free cookware! Or a gift cert for cookware. Whichever, it was an obvious scam. Then the recent one I got was them trying to tell me I won a travel package. So pick up the phone, or you can call the number back, and tell the person to put the number on your DO NOT CALL list. Do not say take me off your list. They don't have to legally do that unless you specifically say put me on your DO NOT CALL list.
