Wanted to "lower my interest rate" on a Visa card. After asking several times he said chase visa. Besides my bank cards I don't have a chase visa so I told him they are a scam and to remove my number. He said they would not remove my number. I let him know if they don't I will be making a formal complaint and pressing charges. He said ok and hung up. 100% scam! Credit card companies will automatically lower your rate or send you a letter not call you asking for your credit card info.
Called and told me that they were monitoring my credit card usage and I could get a lower credit card rate. I pressed one and asked to be removed from their call list. They hung up.
