I keep getting calls from 515-460-2739...they let a message about lowering my interest on credit card...I tried to call back but the number doesn't work and funny thing is I have a 0% interest card for a year that lasts for a year and a half...so this must be a scammer
a call came from same people a month ago but it said from Louisiana not Iowa on that one, when I began to question the guy, who had a foreign accent, he got indignant and stated, "what you think I am a scammer, I said yes, he got very angry and hung up. From the sound of his voice it seems to be from Nigeria, I have traveled to several African nations and each has a different sound.

Many posters in 800notes claim the Do Not Call List (DNCL) is not working for them. We constantly attempt to find a way to explain what the DNCL really does, at a level these posters can understand.

Why doesn't the DNCL stop the other calls?
Charities, political calls, and non-sales calls are exempt. "Business relationships" may be exempt. Criminals do not obey the laws, and happily ignore the DNCL.
