Showed up as DCS Associate on caller ID, had called me and my parents next door to sell windows. I asked how he has my name since I am on no-call list and he said "Oh yea"... and hung up 06-24-09.
Answered without looking on the Caller ID. Person started in on siding and windows and when I said I was on the do not call list he said is that a "no" then?
I've heard that you have to renew your number on the National Do Not Call List every couple of years. I recently went on it and there is s place where you can report such calls as this. It states that unless this is a company you have done businesss with in the past 2 yrs they can't cll you. Report the #. I did it to the last one I got and haven't heard from them again. It's worth a try. Maybe if they get flooded with complaints for the same number something will be done about it.
