I'm glad that you posted this because I'll get a call for from a certain number about 5 times a day for several weeks, then that number stops calling takes a few days off then another number calls and it's all the same people. Doesn't sound very legit and I question the validity of their agency if they have 74 different calling numbers and can't have a human answer the phone or leave us a message. Do they really think that in the day of cell phones that people are going to answer an unknown call? So annoying....
This company has called my home and my cell...from 3 different #'s so far, REPEATEDLY. Never leaving a message. I blocked my cell # and called them back; the recorded message said, "the number you have called from is associated with (actual company name here). First fact, I blocked my number and it still registered on their end!!! Second fact, my cell # is not associated with the company they mentioned; however, I am associated with company they mentioned. This is freaky they can get around blocked calls, and freakier that they can associate you with other people and/or companies.
They are a pack of scumbags that have found a legal loophole. They are one of a new bunch of creepoids that dig up old accounts and then call and claim you still owe the debt. There was an article in the last AARP mag about these mud sucking worms. It doesn't matter if you paid it off, closed the account, or declared BK to discharge it, or how long ago it was. Here is their scam. If they can get you to admit to owing the money and agree to take care of it, that puts you on the hook for it, and not just whatever the you might have owed or don't owe, but WHATEVER THEY CLAIM YOU OWE!!!. These slimes are the worst of the worst. They are outright liars and thieves preying mostly on the edlerly. Every last one of them needs to be tossed into a deep dank prison for life. If you get a call from them hang up, don't talk to them, if need be get a lawyer between you and them.
