I had a problem with Verizon billing me for equipment already returned. Long after Verizon said I didn't owe them anything, I began getting contacted by these CBE people, first by mail, then with phone calls. I wrote them to stop bothering me and explained the situation with Verizon and for them to check with Verizon as there was no money owed. Just now I got another one of their weird hang-up phone calls. Somebody should investigate these people!
These people are so stupid. Years ago, I went through a job loss and a subsequent chapter 7 bankruptcy. These idiots are calling about an account that was covered by the case. Asshats.
Actually, if the number is actually a good number, you might be able to sue them. Discharged means discharged, last time I checked. Also, two words; metal whistle.
