i called the number back and it said i was someone else. i waited for a prompt to talk o a live person, i explained that it wasnt me and they removed me from the list. he was actually kind of nice... strange
This is ridiculous they called my house phone asking for Husband I told them that he was unavailable and that I was his wife and how may I help you .The caller just hung up me If this a debt collector believe me they would speak to the spouse because when I was in college I got in debt and they started harassing my parents for the money. I have never in my life dealt with a debt collector that would not speak to a spouse they usually jump on that chance. Oh yeah they did not state who they were or why they were calling my house.
Just got a hold of the a detective at the police department in West Des Moines, IA 50265 he said he would look into it and get back to me in a week tops. Maybe if they get enough calls from us they will shut them down here is the Police department # (515) 222-3320 in case someone wants to call.
We have been receiving several phone calls from "The CBE Group". Both my husband and I have been reached by a live CSR, he wants to talk to my husband (when I answered), he's calling about "a personal matter", and after some probing, he states it's about a rental home we sold last year. He wanted our previous address to even talk to me, which I told him was none of his business. I asked him what was the nature of his call, telling him we no longer owned the home he called about. He got really rude, saying he would not talk to me unless I gave him our previous address, he had answered enough of my questions, it was a personal matter, and that he would call back. I told him not to bother! (Then I looked up the number, and found a number of complaints from this same phone number!!)
