Don't take the calls personally, you say? How can we not take the calls personally when they come late, late night and early morning, dinner time and evening? After a while, it gets real personal..............Babies being disturbed by the calls in the middle of the night and remain awake for hours no matter what time mommy and daddy have to be up for work the next morning.........yeah, personally tired of the BS
Received call on 4-30-14 at 2:42 pm. I've had several of these the past few weeks and pressed 9 to be removed from the list last time. I decided to press 1 this time. An indian man started talking and i interrupted saying "I'd like to know who referred me." He bumbled through his script about how it could be a friend, family member, doctor, etc. I said "that's nice, but I need to know their name." He started to say that since I was a senior citizen... and I interrupted him again and asked what my age was in his records (I'm not a senior). By now he was irritated and finally hung up on me. This disabled vet can't wait for them to call me again to mess with them more.
Reading what the others have written, this sounds identical to a call I got but from another number in another city. So 516-220-1234 and 516-417-9323 are the same scam. The robo call tells me Paul from medical shipping has my order and if I'm ready to pick it up, press one. The only reason I even picked up a number unfamiliar, is my health insurance was to call me back.
